WHY SUPPORT THE FRIENDSHIP TRAIL?

• You can walk, jog, roller blade, bicycle, park at various spots (trail heads, adjacent nearby parks)

• Utilize a variety of experiences including urban, suburban neighborhoods, parks, over-the-water (Tampa Bay), the Tampa Riverwalk and St. Petersburg Pier as destinations and a possible return of historical fishing opportunities.

• Much of the proposed “Friendship Trail” is already in use in the City of Tampa, City of St. Petersburg, and Pinellas County.  

• Public support will encourage the entities to further develop the segments in their jurisdictions and cooperate to ensure links.  A complete Friendship Trail - a “Trail of Two Cities” - would be a Tampa Bay treasure.
